Ingredients
  

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions
 

  • Plug in your mini waffle maker and let it fully preheat.
  • Crack the egg into a small bowl, add the mozzarella and garlic salt, and whisk until well combined.
  • Lightly spray the waffle maker, pour in half the batter, and close the lid. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until golden.
  • Gently lift out the chaffle and repeat with the rest of the batter.

Notes

Let the chaffles cool for 1 to 2 minutes on a wire rack after cooking to ensure a crispy finish. For a sweet version, swap garlic salt for cinnamon and vanilla.
