Instructions
Whisk flour and salt. Cut in cold butter until coarse crumbs form.
Mix maple syrup, vanilla, and vinegar. Add to flour with water; mix until dough forms. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Toss sliced apples with lemon juice, sugar, syrup, cornstarch, and spices.
Roll out dough, place in pie dish, and fill with apple mixture.
Create lattice top, brush with egg wash, and bake at 400°F for 45-50 minutes.
Notes
Always bake fruit pies on a parchment-lined baking sheet to catch any bubbling juices.
